The goal at 336 Renovations is to give discerning home owners a high quality home transformation in two weeks or less.
“A Two Week House Transformation! What can You do in Two Weeks?”
Well, currently, we can strip your house, perform light structural work, re-plaster throughout, repaint, and re-carpet to a standard that is the same or better than a traditional approach that could take 3-4 times as long. Further, we are expanding what we do so that we can rewire, install new kitchens and bathrooms, and lay wooden flooring in the same two week period.
It’s not Impossible – It’s Just Very, Very, Very Difficult.
It may sound impossible. But, according to our calculations, and if you are willing to do just about everything differently, reengineer every process, invest in the latest tools and machinery, then it’s just falls into the “very, very difficult” category. Right now, we estimate all of the above would take us nearly three weeks on site time. This would make us “504 Renovations” which is not quite as catchy as 336 so we are working on cutting it down!
How do we do it?
There are two main reasons why we can work so quickly:
1. We relentlessly research, adapt and test innovations from the UK commercial construction market and the residential building market in Northern Europe and the USA. For example, spray plastering and airless paint spraying deliver a better finish with dramatically reduced time scales c.f. other methods.
2. We apply the latest techniques of collaboration and performance improvement typically found in much larger companies with help from our sister company, ALP Ltd- a management consultancy that does to organisations what we do to houses –renovation and transformation in compressed time frames.
